Skinner outsourcing his lock of the week pick for Week 8 was a stroke of genius as he hit with the Bills over the Packers, but will now be left to his own devices for week 9. Outside of the Jags/Broncos and Saints/Raiders games last week, Skinner nailed the rest of his predictions to close the gap with Kirkwood to a virtual dead heat.
Kirkwood meanwhile hit his lock of the week, but has hit a midseason lull after laying the boots to Skinner for most of the early season. Heading into Week 9 he hopes to turn his fortunes around and re-establish his football dominance.

We’ll track their records throughout the season to crown one Kyle superior at NFL prognostication than the other. They’ll also each give their “lock of the week” game, which will be worth 2 pts in the standings (however they can’t use the same team twice as their lock).
