Caitlin Clark Introduced As Nike Signature Athlete

Things may not have gone according to the script on the court in 2025 for Caitlin Clark, as she battled a variety of injuries which have cost her all but 13 games this season. But off the court, the Clark business continues to prove exceptionally lucrative.

Global athletic apparel giant Nike officially announced Clark as their newest signature athlete, complete with her own signature logo at a press conference this week. The new logo, which features a pair of interlocking C’s, will be featured on a new collection of sportswear which will include clothing, sneakers, and other on-court apparel this fall.

Fans will first be able to get their hands on the new line of merchandise starting September 1st in North America, with Nike launching a t-shirt collection next month, followed by a more extensive apparel roll out on October 1st.

“Nike’s signature roster features all-time greats, and I am incredibly proud to join some of the best athletes in the world,” said Clark. “I’m excited to share a first look at what we’ve started to create together.”

“To me, this is more than just a logo, it’s a dream come true,” she continued. “People always talk about leaving your mark on the game — and this is another way I can do that.”

The WNBA superstar’s upcoming logo collection will include T-shirts, hoodies, shorts and pants for athletes of all ages, as well as additional premium pieces for adults. Her first signature shoe and apparel collection will debut in 2026.

“At Nike, we’ve always drawn inspiration not only from the world’s greatest athletes but also from those who elevate the spirit of sport itself. Caitlin exemplifies both: an exceptional basketball player and an outstanding ambassador for the game,” said Ann Miller, EVP, Nike Global Sports Marketing. “We’re excited to take this next step together, continuing to shape this historic time for women’s basketball and pushing the game and industry forward.”

After winning the WNBA’s rookie of the year award in 2024, Clark has battled lower body injuries over the course of this season, which has put a damper on her sophomore campaign. Nevertheless, the 6′ guard has averaged 16.5pts/5reb/8.8ast per game while healthy, which was good enough to land her on the All-Star team for the second consecutive year.

Clark and the Fever are in the midst of a heated race towards the postseason, as they’ve dropped two straight contests, and 6 of their last 10 to find themselves precariously close to missing out on the playoffs altogether. Indiana is next in action on Tuesday evening against the Seattle Storm.
