Clippers Sign Jordan Miller To 4 Year Deal

The Los Angeles Clippers and two-way guard Jordan Miller have come to terms on a 4 year, $8.3M deal the club announced Saturday.

Miller was the Clippers’ 2023 second-round pick (48th overall), and has enjoyed a breakout season with the team’s San Diego NBA G League affiliate. As a result, he’s earned himself a standard NBA deal, which will include over $1M for the last 6 weeks of the season.

The 25 year old has averaged 4.7 points in 12 minutes a night across 30 games this season. The former University of Miami star appeared in 8 contests in 2023-24, but has looked much more comfortable with the pace of the game at the NBA level this year.

Although Miller has seen limited NBA action since January 20th, the 6’5″ guard averaged 24.5pts/5.3reb/3ast per game with San Diego. With veteran guard Norman Powell currently dealing with knee issues, Miller will likely serve as a depth piece for the Clips down the stretch as they continue to jockey for position in the Western Conference.

To make room for Miller, the Clippers were waiving forward MarJon Beauchamp to create roster space. Los Angeles is next in action on Sunday night against their crosstown rivals the Lakers.
