Charlotte Hornets forward Grant Williams is believed to be out for the remainder of the 2024-25 NBA season after suffering multiple ligament injuries to his right knee.
Williams is believed to have suffered the injury late in the 4th quarter of his team’s 125-119 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. Currently averaging 10.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, the veteran forward was seeing roughly 30 minutes of action per night for the 6-10 Hornets.
With Williams out of the mix, Tidjane Salaün is likely to see an increased role in Charlotte’s rotation moving forward. The rookie forward has started a handful of games early this season as the Hornets front court has suffered a variety of injuries thus far. Nick Richards, Mark Williams, and Miles Bridges have all missed time, causing head coach Charles Lee to put his lineups in a blender through November.
Up next for the Hornets is a Monday night matchup at home vs. the visiting Orlando Magic.
