Kansas Opens 2023-24 Season At Number 1

The Kansas Jayhawks are favourites amongst voters and sports books to win it all in 2023-24. Already a blue blood basketball school, Kansas saw their odds surge to the top of the polls after 2x All Big-Ten Centre Hunter Dickinson transferred from Michigan to the Jayhawks in May.

The 7’1″ big man joins a loaded Kansas squad that’s looking to claim their 2nd national title over the past 3 seasons when games tip off in a few weeks time. 2023 champions UConn open the year as the 6th ranked squad in the country after graduating several players to the NBA this offseason. Meanwhile Duke (2), Purdue (3), Michigan St. (4) and Marquette round out the top five programs in the preseason rankings.
