Once again Kyle Skinner’s lock of the week fell as the Browns lost to the Jets in truly spectacular fashion. Kyle Kirkwood’s lock of the week also got a scare as Jalen Ramsey needed some goal line heroics to prevent the Rams from falling to 0-2 on the year.
The difference last week would ultimately end up being the locks of the week hitting for one Kyle vs. the other as they pushed the rest of their picks. For the year, Kirkwood currently holds a slight advantage. Meanwhile bettors would be wise to hammer the underdogs in whatever matchup Skinner picks as his lock each week as he’s now whiffed on both of them through 2 weeks.
A quick reminder of the format as the boys will be picking no spreads, just straight up winner take all for each contest on the Sunday slate from Week 1 until Wildcard Weekend. We’ll track their records throughout the season to crown one Kyle superior at NFL prognostication than the other. They’ll also each give their “lock of the week” game, which will be worth 2 pts in the standings (however they can’t use the same team twice as their lock).
