Quinshon Judkins Suffers Season Ending Injury

Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins was forced out of his team’s loss to the Buffalo Bills with a season ending leg and ankle injury.

The rookie was carted off the field late in the 2nd quarter after catching a short pass from QB Shedeur Sanders and being tackled by Bills LB Matt Milano. Judkins’ legs were tangled up awkwardly underneath him on the play, and could be seen in visible pain immediately afterwards.

Prior to going down, the 22 year old had 22 yards on the ground, and 5 receptions for 29 yards through the air. Cleveland would go on to lose the game 23-20.

According to reports out of Cleveland, Judkins suffered a broken fibula and dislocated ankle on the play and will require surgery. It marks the end to a promising rookie campaign in which the running back led the team in scrimmage yards and total touchdowns, despite missing a large part of training camp and the early part of the season due to off field legal troubles which stalled out contract negotiations.

Fellow rookie running back Dylan Sampson was out for the Week 16 contest with a hand injury, leaving Cleveland with Raheim Sanders in the backfield. Sampson figures to be available for Week 17, and will get an ample opportunity to showcase his own skillset in Judkins absence.

The Browns will finish off the 2025 NFL campaign with AFC North showdowns against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals.
