Results of the 2024 Baseball Hall of Fame vote are 24 hours away from being announced as the Baseball Writers’ Association of America will reveal this year’s class of inductees in a ceremony from Cooperstown, NY on January 23rd at 6pm ET.
This year’s 26 player ballot features a bevy of new faces as 12 players have become eligible for the first time. The list of potential inductees also includes 14 holdovers from last year’s vote, as players can remain on the ballot for 10 years so long as they receive at least 5% of the vote each season.
In order to be elected into the Hall of Fame, players must receive at least 75% of the vote from the BBWAA committee.
