1.Tennessee Titans
3-14 · .522 (strength of schedule)
Biggest needs: QB, WR, DL, OL, S
Tennessee can hope that Will Levis miraculously takes a massive step forward in 2025, or they can draft their QB of the future at number 1. All signs point towards them either selecting a new signal caller here, or moving the pick for a king’s ransom to another QB needy team. If the latter occurs however, expect the Titans to be picking near the top of the 2026 draft as well.
2.Cleveland Browns
3-14 · .536
Biggest needs: Edge, QB, OT, WR, RB
Much like the Titans, Cleveland has a major decision to make this offseason under centre. The Deshaun Watson trade looked bad when it was originally made. It’s now officially an unmitigated disaster several years later. Does the team look to move on from Myles Garrett who has requested a trade? If so, they could look to turn the corner fairly quickly by selecting a new QB and securing a Khalil Mack-esque return for Garrett. But if they run it back, it’s hard to see them doing anything other than finishing in the basement of the AFC North once again.
3.New York Giants
3-14 · .554
Biggest needs: QB, OL, DB
One could list a bevy of needs here for New York, but really it should be listed as “QB, QB, QB”. The decision to roll with Daniel Jones over now Super Bowl champion Saquon Barkley will haunt Giants fans for years, especially seeing as they need to watch him in Midnight Green twice a season. Expect the Giants to do everything in their power to ensure one of Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders is selected by them on Draft Day.
4.New England Patriots
4-13 · .471
Biggest needs: OL, WR, DL, CB
New England finds themselves in an interesting situation at number 4. Without a need for a QB, they can either turn to the offensive line in order to keep Drake Maye upright in 2025, or they can try a 2-for-1 special in generational talent Travis Hunter who could help on both sides of the ball.
5.Jacksonville Jaguars
4-13 · .478
Biggest needs: CB, S, OL
If Travis Hunter slides to 5, it’s hard to see the Jaguars passing up on him. If he doesn’t, then it still wouldn’t be a surprise to see the newly overhauled Jags front office to try to revamp their secondary which was regularly torched in 2024, and has numerous players heading into the final year of their current deals in 2025.
6.Las Vegas Raiders
4-13 · .540
Biggest needs: QB, WR, RB, DB, DL
There aren’t many positions on the Raiders roster outside of TE that could use help this offseason. Unfortunately, Vegas can’t address them all at once in the first round. It’s highly likely that the front office looks to bring in a veteran QB in free agency, and could look to add a high end WR to the roster here. Though a potential Maxx Crosby trade could change that strategy in a hurry.
7.New York Jets
5-12 · .495
Biggest needs: QB, DL, OT, DB
With the team officially moving on from Aaron Rodgers, there’s a giant hole at QB1 on the depth chart at the moment. That being said, there aren’t many scenarios that would see the Jets selecting a passer here. Expect them to draft a big body either on the offensive line or the defensive interior at 7.
8.Carolina Panthers
5-12 · .498
Biggest needs: DL, WR, OL
Simply put, Carolina should take the best player available when their time on the clock starts. They need talent on both sides of the ball, but improving one of the league’s worst defensive units should be a priority.
9.New Orleans Saints
5-12 · .505
Biggest needs: WR, TE, CB, DL, QB
Cameron Jordan isn’t getting any younger, and Chase Young could be leaving in free agency. An impact pass rusher would be a great get for New Orleans, who could then look to bring in another QB in the later rounds of the draft to develop behind the murky Derek Carr/Spencer Rattler/Potential Free Agent QB situation under centre.
10.Chicago Bears
5-12 · .554
Biggest needs: OL, DL
Frankly it would be shocking to see Chicago take a position other than offensive lineman in the draft. They need to protect Caleb Williams better in 2025, but if they go in any other direction, seeing them select a stud pass rusher would be our second best guess.
11.San Francisco 49ers
6-11 · .564
Biggest needs: CB, DL, LB, OL
Given how successful they’ve been in recent years it’s almost bizarre to see the 49ers selecting this high. That being said, they’ve got some aging veterans who they’ll need to begin developing replacements for. This can largely be a luxury pick here as the real offseason addition San Francisco fans will be hoping for is a clean bill of health to their star studded roster.
12.Dallas Cowboys
7-10 · .522
Biggest needs: RB, OL, DL, CB, LB
This could be one of the more interesting offseasons in recent Cowboys memory. Could Micah Parsons actually be traded? Will Jerry bring in a high profile free agent? There’s plenty of options on the board at the moment. Ashton Jeanty to Dallas has been the trendy pick for the last several months, and it solves a lot of problems for the Cowboys beleaguered run game.
13.Miami Dolphins
8-9 · .419
Biggest needs: DB, DL, LB
Miami has multiple players who could be leaving in free agency on the defensive side of the ball. They need help at all three levels here, so unless a Tyreek Hill trade actually materializes, expect the front office to go defence early and often in this year’s draft.
14.Indianapolis Colts
8-9 · .457
Biggest needs: OL, TE, DB, LB
All signs point towards Anthony Richardson getting another shot as QB1 at this stage of the offseason. His upside is tantalizing, but his warts are evident. Getting him a big bodied TE to act as a safety valve to allow the Colts WRs to get open would go a long way towards improving the team’s offence as a whole.
15.Atlanta Falcons
8-9 · .519
Biggest needs: DL, S, CB, C, WR
Yet another interesting QB situation to monitor this offseason between Kirk Cousins and Michael Penix Jr. The team has all the tools you could want in terms of offensive weapons, but too often find themselves in shootouts. Getting a blue chip prospect along the defensive line could help keep opposing offences on the sidelines more often in 2025.
16.Arizona Cardinals
8-9 · .536
Biggest needs: DL, WR, OL
Arizona has several big bodies on the defensive side of the ball heading into free agency. While the “fun” pick is pairing Marvin Harrison Jr. up with another high upside WR, the more likely scenario sees the team address their pass rush.
17.Cincinnati Bengals
9-8 · .478
Biggest needs: WR, TE, OL, CB
This pick could go in a wide variety of directions. And most of that hinges on what the team decides to do with Tee Higgins. If the club gives Joe Burrow his wish and runs back the same offensive unit, then expect them to go O-Line or CB here. If Higgins ends up somewhere other than Cincinnati in 2025, then they’re likely to draft his replacement at 17.
18.Seattle Seahawks
10-7 · .498
Biggest needs: QB, LB, DL, OL
Geno Smith is entering the final year of his contract, and while serviceable, has proven he likely isn’t the guy to bring the team to the promised land. It’s hard to see the team taking a huge swing at a QB here, so expect them to address that need in round 2 onwards, but we’ve also seen crazier things happen on Draft Day.
19.Tampa Bay Buccaneers
10-7 · .502
Biggest needs: WR, OL, LB, DL
Chris Godwin could be leaving in free agency, and Mike Evans isn’t getting younger. Our money is on the team going WR here. But if the right pass rusher is still available, or one of the better O-Lineman starts to fall, the Bucs could reinforce their roster in the trenches before adding pass catchers on Day 2.
20.Denver Broncos
10-7 · .502
Biggest needs: TE, WR, LB, S, DL
There’s a few areas of need for Broncos who surprised teams with their 10-7 record in 2024. However, expect the front office to give Bo Nix some more weapons in either a sure handed tight end or a red zone threat at WR.
21.Pittsburgh Steelers
10-7 · .502
Biggest needs: QB, CB, RB, WR, OT
Steelers fans would probably love to see their team address one of the team’s areas of need in either secondary or along the offensive line, but the QB position has been a mess since Ben Roethlisberger retired, and the front office won’t be doling out big bucks to Russell Wilson or Justin Fields this offseason. Do they learn their lesson from the Kenny Pickett mistake? Or do they reach here for the most important position in football once again?
22.Los Angeles Chargers
11-6 · .467
Biggest needs: DL, C, S, TE
Finding Tuli Tuipulotu a partner early in the draft would be a homerun given the state of the team’s pass rushers heading into free agency at the moment. But getting a star centre, or a game changing TE (depending who is still left on the board) could also help elevate Justin Herbert’s game even further.
23.Green Bay Packers
11-6 · .533
Biggest needs: CB, DL, C, WR
It’s crazy to think the team could go WR here given how many pass catchers the team has on the roster already, but the reality is they’ve got a ton of “good, not great” WRs in Green Bay at the moment so if someone they love is still around, they could pull the trigger. The more likely scenario however is the team going DB here and reinforcing their inconsistent secondary.
24.Minnesota Vikings
14-3 · .474
Biggest needs: DB, DL, RB, OL, S
Minnesota’s DB room is made up of a massive list of impending free agents. So unless the front office is prepared to start writing cheques this offseason, the prudent path is to select a cost controlled CB in round 1 and look to possibly add a running back in the later rounds.
25.Houston Texans
10-7 · .481
Biggest needs: WR, OL, DL, DB
Stefon Diggs and Robert Woods are about to hit free agency, and Tank Dell suffered yet another gruesome leg injury in 2024. Part of the reason Bobby Slowik went from the hottest name on the list of potential new head coaches to fired in the span of a year was Houston’s inability to continue developing CJ Stroud. Expect the front office to give their star QB some more weapons in 2025.
26.Los Angeles Rams
10-7 · .505
Biggest needs: OL, WR, DB, LB, TE
Does LA trade Matthew Stafford? Cooper Kupp? How many players along their offensive line will they lose to free agency? There are numerous dominoes which need to fall before one can confidently predict what the Rams do on Draft Day. Assuming the team doesn’t completely hit the reset button roster wise, one could assume they keep Stafford, sign one of their impending OL free agents, and draft a replacement for whoever they let walk along trenches up front.
27.Baltimore Ravens
12-5 · .529
Biggest needs: OL, WR, DL
Ronnie Staley could be leaving as a free agent, and Baltimore is returning one of the more complete rosters in the NFL in 2025. This could either be a luxury pick of “best player available”, or a chance for the team to get younger along the offensive line.
28.Detroit Lions
15-2 · .516
Biggest needs: DL, DB, WR, OL
Getting another young pass rusher would be huge for Detroit. As would a clean bill of health to their returning players. Someone who can collapse the pocket up front, and avoiding the injury bug could be all the Lions need in 2025 to make a Super Bowl run.
29.Washington Commanders
12-5 · .436
Biggest needs: DL, OT, WR, LB, DB
One of the biggest surprises of 2024 was the Commanders who were a win away from heading to the Super Bowl. Getting some strength and length along the defensive line would be huge for Dan Quinn’s roster. But if the right WR falls to them, getting Jayden Daniels another weapon would be a huge hit for fans in DC.
30.Buffalo Bills
13-4 · .467
Biggest needs: DL, WR, DB
Buffalo could use a run stuffer in the middle of their defensive line. They’ve got some impending free agents who could be leaving that unit this spring, but their WR room is also another area of concern. As great as Josh Allen is using his legs, fans would probably like to see him take fewer hits this year, and stretch the field with his arm instead.
31.Kansas City Chiefs
15-2 · .488
Biggest needs: DL, OL, WR
Chris Jones will be back in 2025, but many of the other pass rushers along the defence are question marks this spring. That being said, after watching Patrick Mahomes run for his life against the Eagles in the Super Bowl, would anyone be shocked with the team taking an offensive lineman here?
32.Philadelphia Eagles
14-3 · .453
Biggest needs: DL, WR, LB
Josh Sweat and Zack Baun are headed for free agency, which means the Eagles are likely to address their pass rush on Draft Day. Philadelphia has the luxury of not being locked into any particular position as they rotate in bodies more than almost any team in the league, giving them several in house options if they lose players to free agency. If the right person falls to them, Howie Roseman won’t hesitate to select them. If not, then expect it to be another EDGE or DT heading to the City of Brotherly Love.
