Reports: Mohamed Salah to stay at Liverpool despite Saudi interest
Liverpool believe Mohamed Salah will stay at the club next season as he has given no indication of a desired exit, per multiple reports.
The Reds talisman enters the final year of his contract come the start of next season. And, despite continued interest from the Saudi Pro League, he is expected to remain at Anfield.
As far as talks over a new deal are concerned, new sporting director Richard Hughes will address the issue once he takes on the role in an official capacity. It goes without saying that conversations are to be had between Salah and Arne Slot as well.

Concerns over Salah’s future were thrown into a frenzy after he had a spat with Klopp at the touchline over the weekend before being subbed on.
Following two defeats in their last three contests, and with the title charge all but over for the Reds, Klopp’s side were en route to dropping more points against West Ham in a game that finished 2-2. Salah and Klopp had an apparent disagreement moments after an Alisson Becker error led to a Hammers goal.
Salah’s form hasn’t been optimal of late, as suggested by his lack of impact on games. The 31-year-old seems to have lost the spark that often sees him at the receiving end of Liverpool’s chances, while Darwin Nunez’s struggles in front of the goal haven’t helped matters either.
Both parties initially refused to shed light on the matter, as Salah notably pointed out, “There is going to be fire today if I speak.” On the other hand, Klopp highlighted that the duo brushed it off with a conversation in the dressing room.
Even after a dip in form and having to go on national duty at the AFCON, Salah has still notched 24 goals and 13 assists this season.
Salah has already cemented his status as a certified Liverpool legend. And the club’s most prolific player will be needed when they transition to new management.
As for the present, Salah and co. will be looking to give Klopp a fitting farewell in his final few games with the team. Liverpool host Tottenham next over the weekend.
