In true Dynes Press Box fashion, we had so much going on in anticipation for Week 1 of the NFL Season, that we completely overlooked one of our regular weekly columns. Last year Kyle Kirkwood and Kyle Skinner went head to head each week for an NFL pick’ em challenge, which was ultimately won in the final week by Kirkwood.
In an effort to even the score this year, Skinner has re-issued the challenge, albeit a week late, to determine who is the ultimate predictor for 2023. A quick refresher of the rules:
-No spreads, just straight wins/losses
-Each correct answer is worth 1 point
-Each player will give their “lock of the week” which is worth 2 points. However they cannot re-use the same team twice in a season.
-Whomever is in the lead heading into the week needs to give their picks to the other first.
Simple enough? Let’s get started and see who the boys like to emerge victorious in Week 2.
