If there’s been a more volatile card in recent UFC history, we certainly can’t think of it. UFC 270 has seen more fighters hop on, and off the main card than the New York subway system sees daily passengers.
Owing to gruesome injuries (Greg Hardy) and several bouts of COVID and Non-COVID related illnesses, a bevy of fights were either cancelled, postponed, or altered at the last minute. As of this writing there’s a good chance that Andre Fialho, who is making his UFC debut and taking the fight on 8 days notice, could suddenly find himself as part of the PPV action tonight.
With so much movement, unsurprisingly sportsbooks are having a hard time setting consistent lines, and you’re likely to find different odds on every site you go to. Even within the same sportsbook, the lines have been up and down all morning as new wagers are placed, and new information becomes available.
