It’s not often we talk about a story that’s yet to be released. Then again, it’s not every day a professional sports organization releases statements regarding said yet to be published story in an attempt to get ahead of the curve.
Earlier today a variety of NBA insiders began posting on social media that the league was bracing for a scathing report regarding Phoenix Suns/Mercury owner Robert Sarver:
Early indications suggest that the article will include allegations of racism, sexism, and sexual harassment over the course of several years. The article, which will apparently be published through ESPN, has league officials on high alert. The Suns organization was quick to issue a statement on the upcoming piece:
