The Green Bay Packers and tight end Tucker Kraft have come to terms on a new 4 year, $75M extension which could be worth up to $92M if all incentives are reached. The deal will reportedly feature a $26.5M signing bonus and will carry an average annual value of $18.75M per season.
Coming off a torn right ACL which cut his 2025 NFL season short, Kraft receives the long term security he was looking for heading into the 2026 campaign. His AAV makes him the league’s 3rd highest paid tight end trailing only George Kittle ($19.1M) and Trey McBride ($19M).
Across 8 games for the Packers in 2025, Kraft posted 32 receptions for 489 yards and 6 TDs. He was well on his way to having a career year and may have very well set new franchise records in several categories when all was said and done. The 25 year old appears ready to go for Week 1 against the Vikings but is likely to be on a snap count to ensure he doesn’t experience any setbacks.
“They’re gonna take into account my rep range probably until halfway through the season,” Kraft said. “Then they’re just gonna pat me on the ass and send me out there, send me to the wolves. How this offense is, I’m gonna get as comfortable as I can playing those reps in those games that I was playing previously, those games when I was 50-60 reps, 85 reps against the Cowboys in overtime. It’s just the more you can do, all the hats I can wear on the offense, I want to bring everything to the table.”
Originally selected in the third round, 78th overall, by Green Bay back in 2023, the former South Dakota State standout will now be a key fixture in the Packers offence for the foreseeable future.
